So what do you do when you turn 60, your last name is Johnson, get your first "You are officially OLD" invitation from AARP, and your birthday is on May Day? You gather the kids, grandkids and neighbors, then do the Red Neck Maypole Dance, that's what!!!
Being born on May Day (May 1), Sue had never experienced a Maypole dance, so decided that her 60th birthday was the perfect time to do it! Rob obliged her and assembled a fun and creative “Redneck Maypole” for all of us to enjoy – complete with cemented tire pole and three colors of caution tape. We gathered the kids and grandkids and had great time feeling young again!
Adelle made a delicious layered fruit dessert for everyone.
Birthday Buddies!!
Love sharing our birthdays together!
